Kari N. Aughenbaugh is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who works in our Estero office. She is committed to providing high-quality dermatological care in a friendly and relaxed environment. Her practical focus is on the treatment of acute and chronic skin problems for pediatric and adult patients alike, and she dedicates herself to educating patients on prevention and early detection of skin cancer. Furthermore, Kari provides individualized cosmetic services by utilizing injectables such as Botox and Dermal Fillers.
Kari completed her undergraduate studies at Illinois State University with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Upon completion of her degree, she spent 10 years working as an ER nurse, with 5 of those years as a traveling nurse in various hospitals across the country. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing and moved down to southern Florida to start her career as a Nurse Practitioner.
Kari is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Florida Nurse Practitioner Network, and the Southern Gulf Coast Nurse Practitioner Council.
